Fariin is on iPhone and is still in testing, so some of this will change. If your question is not here, write and ask.
Getting the app
Fariin is in TestFlight, which is Apple's system for trying apps before they are in the App Store. Write to support@fariin.com and you will be sent an invite. You need an iPhone and a free Apple account.
Signing in
Fariin does not ask for your phone number. You sign up with a name and a username, and people find you by that username. If you lose access to your account, write to us from the address you can still reach and we will help where we can. We cannot recover messages, because we cannot read them.
Deleting your account
Open Fariin, go to Settings, and choose to delete your account. Your messages, photos and profile go with it. This is immediate and it cannot be undone.
Reporting someone
Use the report option inside the app, or write to abuse@fariin.com. Tell us the username and what happened. We cannot read the messages, so include anything you can that helps: screenshots, times, the username.
Blocking someone
Open the conversation, open the contact, and block. They will not be able to message or call you, and they are not told.
A message did not arrive
Messages are held for delivery and sent when the other phone comes online. On a slow connection this can take a while. If a message has one tick it has left your phone; two means it reached theirs.

Fariin is run by one person rather than a company, so replies are not instant. Every message is read.
